Tacos and Beer, Yes Please! (Southern CA Happenings)
/The fantastic people who put on the OCBrewHaHa are at it again with Sabroso Craft Beer and Taco Festival. The festival will be held on May 3, 2014 at Lake View Park in Silverado, CA from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. The brewery list is an impressive list of California brewers including Noble Ale Works, Stone Brewing, Ritual Brewing, Bootleggers, Valiant, Bottle Logic and many others all pouring unlimited tastings of their fantastic beers. Chefs from Hopscotch Tavern, Taco Asylum, Haven Gastropub, Dos Chinos, Iron Press and other restaurants will be serving a variety of tacos for your noshing pleasure. Included in the taco lineup are some interestingly inventive tacos like Iron Press' Waffle Chicken taco, Porko Rico's smoked brisket tacos and the Kroft's Poutine Taco.
If this festival is anything like OC Brew Ha Ha or their Christmas beer festival the OC Brew Ho Ho, you're in for a treat. The people at OCBrewHaHa Productions put on great festivals that are well organized and spread out in away that one never feels too crowed. The volunteers are really friendly and the entertainment they provide and the park settings they choose for their festivals makes them some of the best in Southern California. You really don't want to miss this inaugural event.
Passes for the festival include four hours of unlimited beer tastings, commemorative festival glass, entertainment, and free parking and water and are currently available online for $55 each. (Brew Ha Ha Productions has sold out their last four events. However, if this inaugural event does not sell out, tickets will be sold the day of for $65.)
